Has anyone reblogged this and added how you shouldn’t actually do this as its a waste of their time/someone else’s time who needs emergency rescue services? It’s a great thought with good intention, but working in the health industry and talking to dispatchers and hearing from hospital employees who are friends with their dispatchers… Any irrelevant calls suck. Not only do they have to track and follow up on any call (you may be pretending to talk to a friend as a hostage, etc etc), but you’re tying up lines :( Do one better and send thank you cards or flowers.Call 911 and ask them how their day is going. They will appreciate it. Friendly gestures go a long way
